2019SeminaronTranslation Teaching and Translation Technology was successfully held in Shanghaifrom July 9th to 11th. The seminar was hosted by the School of Foreign Languagesof Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU),organizedby SJTU Press Co. Ltd., and supported by the SchoolofLanguages of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE).Theseminarfocused on disciplinaryconstructionof translation,translationtechnologypractice,and design andpresentation of translationcourse, aiming toimprovetranslationteachingskills.Associateprofessor Yin Yantong in our college attended the conference.
The seminar has three subjects: the theory and practice oftheMTI Program, the construction of translation technologycourses, the application of Python in translation and the design and presentation of MTI’s gold courses. Many scholars were invited to give wonderful keynotes. At the seminar, associate professor Yin Yantong from our college exchanged views with participating scholars from all over the country.
